Is it single player? No. It is multiplayer with squads of up to four. PvE is integrated into the game, but no single-player campaign has been announced. See PvE.

Is it an extraction shooter? It has extraction, but Nikita Buyanov calls it "a next-generation combat simulator" and says extraction isn't central. See the gameplay breakdown.

How big are the maps? Reported at three to four times a Tarkov map (April 2026) and about five times (June 2026), with 40–50 players per map.
