Short answer
Fragmentary Order has no release date. The first closed alpha is planned before the end of 2026, under NDA, for people in the paid Prime Batch program. The game is PC only and sold through COR3; no Steam release has been announced.

Is there a release date?
No. As of November 6, 2026, Rant Gaming has not given Fragmentary Order a release date, a release year or a launch window. When the game was named on April 12, 2026, the announcement said plainly that "a release date has not yet been set," and nothing since has changed that.
What does have a target is testing. The official Q&A after the November 4 reveal says the first closed alpha is "scheduled to take place before the end of the year," and that the alpha for the first Prime Batch participants is "scheduled to begin soon."

The pattern matters if you are waiting for news: every big step so far has come with a countdown on cor3.gg or a post from @fragorder a couple of days ahead. The November 4 reveal was teased on November 2.
How to get in early
There is exactly one official route right now: Prime Batch, the paid closed-testing program on fragmentaryorder.com. It runs through the whole pre-public development phase and, per the developers, cannot be bought once that phase ends.
- Pick an edition. Candidate ($44.99) gets alpha sessions and the major technical playtests. Founder ($79.99) adds earlier experimental builds, early roadmap visibility and a closed developer community. Both include the full game at release. See the Prime Batch guide for the full comparison.
- Raise your COR3 rank first. Your rank on cor3.gg lowers the Prime Batch price, and the discount stacks with vouchers from the cor3.gg event. The rank checker shows how far you are from the next rank.
- Expect the NDA. The first wave can't share footage. If you want to see the game before paying, waiting is a reasonable choice.

Will there be a public beta?
Not announced. The official Q&A says Prime Batch testing will include scheduled tests, time-limited tests and open-server tests, all for participants. Nothing has been said about a free public test. Nikita Buyanov told GamesBeat in April that the first public tests were planned for 2026, and the Prime Batch alpha is what that plan has become so far.
What to watch next
- The FragOTV podcast. GamesBeat reports another episode will cover the alpha launch and development plans.
- The Founders community. Due to open the week after the reveal, which makes it the likeliest place for the first alpha schedule.
- cor3.gg countdowns. Act 2 opened on February 1, 2026 and the naming reveal landed on April 12, 2026, both after on-site countdowns.
Common questions
When is the Fragmentary Order release date?
There isn’t one. Rant Gaming has not announced a release date or window. Only the first closed alpha has a target: before the end of 2026.
When does the Fragmentary Order alpha start?
The developers say the first alpha for Prime Batch participants begins “soon” and is scheduled before the end of 2026. No exact date has been given.
How do I get Fragmentary Order early access?
Buy into Prime Batch (Candidate $44.99 or Founder $79.99) on the official site. Your COR3 rank lowers the price, and rank also affects priority for First Batch access.
Is the alpha under NDA?
Yes. The first closed alpha wave is under a non-disclosure agreement, so footage and impressions will be limited at first.
Will there be a free open beta?
Not announced. The official Q&A lists scheduled, time-limited and open-server tests for Prime Batch participants, but no free public beta.
